Early of January 2008,
------------------------

I decided NOT* to return to IFW, and made a decision to go abroad.
(* = after 3 weeks of re considering the offer)

With so many doubts and lots of unsure feelings,
Me with my fellow friend, Ronny - both made a huge step in life's, that we decided to go to work in Singapore.
We Both got hired in a company called SPARKY ANIMATION PTE.LTD
Boy ill tell you, this was a unbelievable experience, it was by far the most challenging obstacles i had in life (personal and career wise). Emotionally i had to fight lots of battles to be more patience, more wise, and more thoughtful.

Such an honor of Meeting great talents across the globe,
A GREAT HUGE thanks to James Chiang (animation mentor), to be my mentor.
such incredible knowledge, thoughts, and lessons in life he gave to me.

but most of us chose to find better roads for the future, we all are now separated in different companies across the globe, but we all still gather together and remain great friends.

Alhamdulillah, the journey was done, and i learned great lessons in life that made me stronger.

Reunions of X-IFW in Singapore, with Donny, Bondhan, Popo and the great Latief.
we all talked and shared stories, and eventually realized,
"if we believe we can achieve it (to work in singapore), its POSSIBLE!"

Alhamdulillah, we all still remain great friends..

CG Overdrive.
re unite with the Masters and Superiors of IFW. watching a presentation of how to make the film Sing to the Dawn.
i gotta admit, it sure brings great pride and proud, yet to be honest it also brings pain and old scars..

mostly,
at this event i remember i was hoping so much to find a better job, but it seems like chance & luck hasnt crossed my roads yet. =(

Alhamdulillah, this event opened my heart and eyes to become a better person professionally.

June 12th 2008

Several of the Sparkians celebrated resigning from Sparky, and they will be joining Lucasfilm Singapore.
I felt very proud for my friends, especially ronny, who finally got news that he is confirmed to join.
and also to Amith and Bondhan who also resign and joined Codemaster of Malaysia.

at the other hand, i felt sad that i had to part again with the group of people that i really2 inspired and look upon on to challenge in positive ways.

Congrats to you now the Jedi Masters. (Norman, Ronny, YeeSang, Jackson, Siwei)

Alhamdulillah, after the loss colleagues, i became stronger..

AT LAST!

MY TIME HAS COME...

Decided that its time to throw in the towel, and leave Sparky Animation. I never intend to settle here, because i want to Move on into bigger and GREATER things.

Alhamdulillah, i can manage to fight the 10 months of battles, and move on.

the PREMIERE Movie SING TO THE DAWN. regathered with my x coworkers from IFW.
congrats guys! we finally see our creation come to screen!

December 2008

Me and Mia went off to Singapore to start the new Journey.
Mia is now the new Housemate of Compassvale to replace Jaka.
Jaka is now married to his bestfriend Ira, and now moved to Yishun.
Ronny is officially a Lucasfilm employee fulltime.

I got a new Job, and the first impression is already amazing. Feel very happy and thrilled.
but before all that, what we all receive was unexciting news,some were just devastation, uncertain, and pain... but further down the road, we all paid our duties, and received our rewards.

Alhamdulillah, we are all in a better place then before.

SIGGRAPH ASIA 2008

Got paid to go there for 3 days..it was great that it was WAY better then CG Overdrive.

Alhamdulillah, i got the experience to see it close up.

Present day, (23rd December 2008)

2008 had been an amazing roller coaster year. I cant say it was a bad year, but it definitely was a year to remember. (in both good and bad ways)

a great lesson i learned in 2008 is :

Life is very fragile, God can take anything away from you in matter of seconds. Be THANKFUL in any situations you are, and always be aware of the obstacles ahead. Keep on learning and don't feel easily comfort and satisfied with what you have learned, because people out there, are always trying hard to be better than YOU every second.

The roads you have planned may seem visually clear and can be achievable, but remember this, IT IS NEVER EASY.
there is the difference between knowing the path, and walking the path.

im very greatfull i have a great Family way back home in Indo and in the US.
and i also feel greatfull to have great friends here.
im excited to have news friends, and new coworkers every year of my life.

usually at the end of the year, like at 2007, i planned out all the targets that i need to achieve in 2008.
Some were more then i expected it to be, and some are just less then what i even could tolerate.
Success and failures i have faced in 2008. but,

Alhamdulillah, i have manage to pull thru in 2008.

For 2009, i wont plan anything specifically like i did before. but i will take my experience i had in 2008, to HOPEFULLY make it achievable in 2009.

2009, i will be ready for you!

i will *hopefully often update the blog much more.

Gosh its been a long time since my last post..

everything has been a roller coaster ride, and it has been the most REALISTIC REALITY i have ever faced.

Its been 6 months in 2008, and its been 6months since im here in S.I.N.G.A.P.O.R.E..and 6 months ive been working in a Animation Studio that is not so exactly an Animation Studio.

I remembered back at December 2007, i really2 decided i wanted to go elsewhere..where i can get new experienced..and get new jobs, friends, and mostly..a new life..
i thought of it would be great and all...but again...nothing is as great as you hoped nor expected.
you will ALWAYS FACE challenges, problems, obstacles, and just more and more bitter roads.

But Now that i did take giant leap, im thankful and great full for all the Ups and Downs...

Till this day im also great full to have met with lots of great people,

most of the crew in the studio left..a record of 11 people resigning! amazing...
the first monday without em was devastating..but i guess i must accept again the bitter part of reality and move on...

Yep, This is a new experience in a life time, a hard, tiring, and yet still wonderfull experience in a life time here..
everyday i question myself, can i be better in what i do? can i be in a better place than where i am now? all in all..i have to find out some way to be better and better..

but i do feel that im beggining to be more patience, and more subtle compared to last year. time does change people, i guess...

well..........im planning on to move to better roads and journey.
(Lucas...here ai come!)

i just hope i can pull myself together and hold on................and be patience........

yep..the STTD animation department is coming to an end, after 1 years and 6 months of hard, heartfull, pain, and struggling moments, it is our time to part and say goodbye to those who are leaving (me included)

it was announced that 15 december 2007, Animation Department for STTD is done!

gee well its been a while since my last post..almost been a month..
lots of deadlines to catch, but ALHAMDULILLAH kelar semua before time..

so, as of today..now, this moment, im in the state of mind where im confuse...confuse weather i should stay or leave..

posibilty is 80% im leaving..its pure 100% im leaving if get recruited in Lucas Arts.
i dont think i can handle this "unclear madness" thats going on in the office..
and for somewhat reason it makes me WEAK in my own perspective, and i hate that so much!

arrrgh!! the cycle goes on again and again! i hate it...!!

thankfully i have great co workers that keeps me smiling everyday...
here are some of the moments i wouldnt forget...

and boy, what a journey it has been, the ups and down, the wrong turns, the deadends, all of it is such an amazing expirience.

i dont celebrate birthdays anymore, but i would like to thank to all who have spend there lil moment of time saying happy birthday to me.

friday night 8pm till 11pm
Well, this weekend sure has lots of activities.
eating grilled Duck&chicken was one of em. this occasion was suppose to be a good bye thing for mahdi, but it turns out he didnt come! rrrrrr......
but, it didnt stop us from having fun together.
ordered 10 grilled ducks, and 5 grilled chicken. and man was it delicious!
i got played by Danang the bastard..he told me that he didnt finish his duck, and he gave the whole plate to me. since it was kinda dark, i couldnt see anything at all so i just took it...and when i got it, there was nothing left but bones and bones...that bastard! he laugh so hard...
ill get u back nang...revenge is sweet.

FUTSAL,-GOODBYE TO POPO-
Saturday night, 7pm-10pm
Yep..as the title says, this is a goodbye match for popo. Lots of people joined the game, i didnt playe due to the injuries that i already have and i retire from playing futsal ever again. So i took the liberty of taking pictures of the guys playing futsal. it was a great match.
Well popo, you are the star of the green carpet here, we will always remember you!

Lots have happend today!..

emotionally this day has been like a roller coaster
tired, happy, sad, and a moment of -unknown/undescribeable feeling-

tired of work, happy that tommorow finally Frameworks decide that no work on saturday.
sad that people who i know and are great friends and people, are leaving this studio.
Erwin, Henry 'Pak Cik', Rasyid, Mahdi, and Popo (on october 2nd) will be leaving the studio for good.
these guys are by now, the greatest artist i could of ever work with,
brilliant, talented, creative, and most of all, COD PLAYERS~! hahaha
i will never let this memory die inside of me, u guys are not just co-workers, but a great friend, inspiring, and a family.
i hope one day we can all be together as one again doing the next project in the next future time ahead.
keep your heads up, dont forget me, the Adittoro- Jendral of COD-the Lead Animator of Pod 3! ok?

we or i should say, will miss u guys alot.

Dilema..

between
-Having to leave a dream that im able to accomplish, or building/pursuing again another dream..-

i just dont know what to do and choose at this moment.

its maybe cuz im bored, and tired and doing all the same routines all over again.

Fortunately, office situation is getting a "lil bit better" as of this moment, time and date

the tense situation we had weeks ago, the doubt, pissed off situation is now under control..

im 21 years old,(id be 22 in a month..) and currently working at Infinite Frameworks Studios as a CG Animator, my recent work was at Castle Production as a Maya 3D Animator.
So as u may know, i am a 3D Animator. Ive been learning 3D for about 3 years now. The first year was basicly leaning the whole process of 3D in general, from drawings, modeling, rigging, animating, texturing, and final renders..
the second year i tried to concentrate on what i think fits best for me, and that is Animating (altho i still learn other parts of 3D in general).
The reason i choose to concentrate on animating is because of what i like to do, and that is to act out, to express my self, love to watch movies alot and sometimes like to watch on how the actors act..and by animate i can express all there is that i have to the public viewers.
By the third year, i really2 went deep in to animating. Got lots of feedback here and there from other people, and it really challenged me to do better each time and as a great motivation as well..

Animation to me is not a "JOB" like people say or think of..where the office timeline is from 9 to 5 or so on...
from what i heard and i agreed on, Animation/Animator is a "Life Style"..it is as it is.......;`)

well i guess thats enough of introduction from me...
